On Thursday, 9th May, the Nunawading Football Club held an extraordinary meeting.
The new President, Brian Coppock, thanked the outgoing President, Treasurer and Committee, for their achievements and he welcomed the new incoming members. He stated that his main priorities were to generate further income for the Club and to ensure that the burden of off field duties was lessened for players.

On the back of a good season of progress last year, the Club is pleased to announce the following new recruits for the 2013 Season;
Mark Randazzo (34 Y.O) – Recruited from the Templestowe Football Club, Mark is returning back to Nunawading as a Playing Assistant Coach. “Randy” is a former EFL 4th Division Senior Best and Fairest Winner and also a former Senior Captain of our Football Club. Randy’s football knowledge will further enhance the on and off field structure.
Jarrod Hills (26 Y.O) – Recruited from the Walla Football Club, Jarrod will join us as a Playing Assistant Coach in 2013. A former 2-time Senior Best and Fairest Winner at the Forest Hill Football Club, Jarrod is a dynamic midfielder capable of playing both “inside” and "outside”.
Gareth Britten (25 Y.O) – Recruited from Knox, GB is returning back to Nunawading in 2013. A versatile tall, GB’s leadership and experience, picked up from his years playing Division 1 football, will play an integral part in the club’s further development.
Jake Daley (26 Y.O) – Recruited from the Whitehorse Pioneers, where Jake is a former Senior Premiership Player and Vice Captain. A hardnosed inside midfielder, Jake loves winning contested footy and will further compliment our young midfield group.
Andy Goland (26 Y.O) – Retuning after a few seasons off, Goldy is a 2-time Senior Best and Fairest Winner at our Club in both 2005 and 2009. Goldy’s pace and ability to win his own footy will also further compliment this young group.
Ross Dancey (22 Y.O) – Recruited from the Glen Waverley Hawks, Ross’s leadership skills will add to the defensive group. Played mainly as a key back, Ross has the ability to play both tall and small.
We welcome all the boys and their partners and families to the club. As you can see the club has been very active in the off season in securing both the right player and person to compliment our young group. The club is extremely confident with these quality new additions but more importantly with the further development of the existing group, the club is set to take on the heavyweights of the Competition. Players are reminded not to rest on their laurels and to give both yourself and the club the best possible chance to take the “next step” in 2013.
